Mr Justin Tan's entrepreneurship and innovative traits developed at a very young age. Justin believes that an opportunity lies behind every problem and confronting challenges energize him. These traits continue to serve him well as Chief Executive Officer of Extol MSC a position he held since 2003. Under Justin's leadership, Extol MSC was granted MSC status in 2004 and was successfully listed on the MESDAQ in March 2006.

Extol MSC today provides innovative information security solutions to key local financial institutions, telcos, hypermarts and other organisations protecting systems from the threat of viruses, hackers and fraudsters. It currently manages information from London, New York, Shanghai, Hanoi, Jakarta and Hong Kong, all from its operations centre in Selangor. Extol has established R&D facilities namely it's Centre for Threat Research and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

Extol MSC is considered a market leader in anti-virus technology in Malaysia with a number of products and services developed in-house. Today, Extol MSC is on the map as an anti-virus expert instead of just an anti-virus provider. Through his leadership, Justin has brought Extol many accolades including being recognised as a Key Industry Leader by Pikom in 2007. @ Sept 07

SCAN Associates originated from a research group, led by Y Bhg Professor Dato' Dr Norbik Bashah Idris, one of the foremost ICT security experts in Malaysia, at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, which had been conducting research in information security and cryptography since 1996. SCAN Associates was incorporated in September 2000 to commercialize its expertise and services in ICT security solutions. The company was awarded MSC status in 2002.

En Aminuddin Baki Esa joined SCAN in 2003 with extensive experience in various strategic ICT initiatives. Together, Aminuddin and Professor Dato' Dr Norbik have been instrumental in bringing SCAN Associates to where it is today. Staff strength has grown from 15 in 1996 to 185 today, of which, 48 are internationally-certified ICT professionals, the highest concentration of such professionals in Malaysia. The company now operates in Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, deriving 50% of its income from overseas. In 2006, SCAN Associates was successfully listed on MESDAQ, a testimony to the successful fusion of industry and academia.

SCAN Associates is considered one of the local pioneers in providing IT Security Outsourcing and has achieved numerous industry awards and certifications including the Frost and Sullivan Telecom Award for the Best Managed Security Services Company in 2006 and 2007. @ Sept 07

Mr Nigel Lee helped found what had become TechnoDex in 2001. In 2003, he was appointed CEO and 3 years later the company was listed on MESDAQ with operations in Malaysia, China and Vietnam.

TechnoDex's competitive niche is in instilling engineering practices to the traditional software development processes with the objective to strengthen and preserve knowledge and to create a business powered by technology. This is a breakthrough to the traditional license-based ICT business model. Nigel believes that the future of ICT services is in commoditization and affordability to all levels of the business community.

Under Nigel's leadership, TechnoDex has embraced open source technology with the development of TechnoDex® Platform that allows software suites to be easily developed and customized via mix-and-match software applications and is Malaysia's first home-grown open source technology platform. Nigel believes in allowing his team to excel through their imagination and excellence. Each member is given the opportunity to build and own their dream with the support and encouragement from management.
