Equipped with a Masters degree with honours
in Information Science, Mr. Ang Kim Jhew started his career as an employee.
In 1991, he established a recruitment firm specialising in placement and contracting
of IT professionals, which won several excellence awards. In 1997, Mr. Ang co-founded JSP
Consulting in the midst of the economic crisis to provide enterprise solutions consulting and
implementation services, using SAP’s suite of e-business platform as the technology enabler.
Recognising the Y2K opportunity, JSP participated in many such projects, recording significant
annual growths during this period of economic downturn.
Today JSP is a certified SAP R/3 national implementation partner
and is a leading SAP implementer with more than 199 consultants.
Clients include multinational corporations and local organisations
from the petroleum and gas, manufacturing, banking, trading and
distribution and automotive industries. JSPC has won several quality
awards. The growth of JSPC is credited to its entrepreneur-driven
spirit, prudent and strong management, customer focus and a team

asiaEP began when Dr. Tan in 1995 envisioned
the huge potential
for internet-based business activities in the coming century. After
formulating the appropriate internet business strategies, Dr. Bernard
and his co-founders created asiaEP in 1998 with a handful of staff
in a small back office in Puchong to provide services in the areas
of e-marketplace development and other customized e-solutions. asiaEP
has a horizontal portal which hosts eight vertical portals for various
manufacturing sectors. Through these portals, products and services
from small-to-medium scale enterprises are promoted worldwide.
Its web-site has more than 100,000 products displayed online, with
a cumulative indicated buying value in excess of USD88 billion across
5 continents, estimated at about 16% of Asia’s total e-merchandising.
Today asiaEP, an MSC-status company, is the Southeast Asia’s
largest manufacturing e-marketplace provider. Dr. Bernard Tan, who
holds a Doctorate of Business Administration in e-Business, is also
actively involved in social activities through non-profit organizations.

Mr. Jaspal Singh, an Engineer by training,
founded PKTech in May 1992. PKTech specialises in the provision of products and systems
